Hi. My site glasses on my powershift are dark from age and I can't use them to tell my trans level. Are there any plugs I can take out or other method to get a reading? Just to make sure they were dark I filled the trans up until I could see it at the fill port and nothing. I drained out what I think was the correct amount but without being able to use them I don't know where I'm at

The site glasses unscrew. Carefully take them out and clean them.

If it is the same as a 7020 and think it would be, the sight glasses are for the final drives and the hyd system. The dipstick under the seat is for both the transmissions.JP
