Figures, new project and I feel like im in over my head!
I probably should have taken pics, But on the bottom on the carb (zenith) there are 2 valves, one around where the line from the little tank and one in the back around the line from the main tank... I ASSUME these are for switching between starting, and all day running one its warm correct? Now as far as running it, the "old tractor guru" in town that I get some parts from says dont run it with anything but a 50/50 mix of diesel and kerosene seems odd as diesel and kero are so close. Unless he was meaning #1 diesel? Virtually the same as kerosene if not the same thing. Something to do with flash point maybe? |

Put gasoline in the big tank and run it all day without switching. The guys across the pond seem to run fuel, but they have a great price difference from us.
