A friend of mine is talking about building a WC or WD and putting a D-19, 180 or 190 gasoline engine in it. His question is will these engines bolt in without an adaptor?

An adapter is needed. I have a WC with a 262 6 cyl already installed for sale, send a message if interested.

What kind of adapter did you use to connect a wc and 262?

Use the adapter and flywheel from a WD45 diesel for the 262. For the 301, you will have to make the adapter and use WD45 diesel flywheel. If you plan on turning more than 3000 RPMs , use a steel flywheel. MACK
