I got one from Sandy Lake Implement (advertisers on this site), and they're in PA near Pittsburgh.
Call Betty at 888-252-0656; I also got a gasket set from them for a 10HP Briggs that the local guys said it'd take two weeks...if they could find one! -Jim Edited by JRP1952 - 24 Feb 2015 at 10:58pm |

The new OEM gauges are pretty looking but the stems are over an inch too short and they will read empty most of the time.

I'm with ACmowerguy. They had a long discussion on the Simpltractors web site about them. Guess the "new" part # gives you something too short to really use.

Thanks for the input on the new ones, I had seen some that were 4in instead of 5in like mine I know why now, I did think about getting a longer one and making it work if I couldn't find one

I just picked this cap up from my local Simplicity dealer for my b-212. Seems like a pretty good match to me. Fits the tank for sure. I'm not for sure how identical the gauge is, as the face of my original is gone.

If you have a simplicity dealer local to you, you might find they have an online parts book for the b garden tractors. The simplicity dealer here in the tulsa area has a website with a parts book for the B series. I was able to look up what was available and make a list before I went in. I also found out he was able to get some of the parts not available on his website. Like the fiber disk for the drive shaft and a couple of belts.
