Found this number going through index cards. So it's just the part number and that for a description and for bin location is in "Johnny's barn" lol so I'm wondering what it looks like to see if its there. And I can't seem to find a parts book for forage harvester.
Thanks

Mike,

This might help you out. I have an Allis Chalmers 780 Harvester. I have found a website with an online parts book type information for the 780. However, the information is on a Ford / New Holland Dealers website, and it is for a Ford 680 Harvester. Allis Chalmers supplied Ford with Harvesters identical to the 780 and they were painted blue and branded 680. They are identical - lots of pic/info if you Google Ford 680 Harvester. Perhaps the part you are looking for would be common or similar to what was supplied on the 780 - sometimes Allis Chalmers maintained design features through the years from older designs to newer.

Google Messicks....go to Messicks main page.......click on search button on top Tool bar.....enter "680 Harvester"........select New Holland 680 forage harvester. There are about 50 different parts catalogue sections on the left hand side, and when you click on one you get the corresponding diagram exploded view and part numbers listing. You can scroll through the categories - each time you select a new category the diagram pops up to match

Hope this helps

How about a lower pan for the cylinder on the old standard?  Try 517208.  That would be a better possible # for a Laport item.
