I would like to sell my sickle bar mower, it came with my WD and I don't have any uses for it. I don't know what it is worth so hoping you guys can give me an idea or you could just offer a reasonable sounding price. The only issue I know of from the previous owner is that one of the gears are broken so doesn't cut right. I don't know the model either.

You have a # 80-R. I have one just like it that is a parts unit with the gears bad in it too.
They will run from a low of $ 100.00 to $500.00 in good working shape.

I have one that I bought a couple years back in good working condition. The only thing that was wrong with it was the outer shoe was missing and the cable around the pulley was rusted out from sitting in the gravel over the years. The first time I used it it broke, but I fabbed up a new one and it has been good ever since. Yours looks like it is missing the outer adjustment shoe; hard to tell from the pictures. I gave $350 if I remember right for mine and did find an outer shoe for it since then. If the gears in yours are shot, then I would think it's a parts unit unless you find another gearbox for it but I don't know what that would cost. Maybe someone would give you $100 for a parts unit. If it were closer to me, I might consider it. Do you have the mounting bracket for it?

I do have the mounting bracket and i was thinking $150-200 before posting it but would probably settle for $100 since I don't have a clue about it and wouldn't want someone to buy it and find out it is trash. I might just end up scraping it if I don't get any interest in it
