Seems like the game is moving at a faster pace than the officiating.  You hope the calls or lack thereof balance out, but sometimes it doesn't.  Drives everybody nuts.

6'3" 185 probably wouldn't get you on the practice squad these days unless you could run a sub 4 40. These men today on the football field are absolute monsters

yeah 6’3” 185 is a wide receiver that needs to gain 25 pounds and still run like the wind.

Saw a video of a man, 6’7”, 260 pounds leap up onto a stack of cushions 60” tall and stick the landing no problem. Incredible

I was 6’1” 190-195 lbs as freshman in H.S. I took ‘Introduction To Architecture’ as an elective, was really enthusiastic about the class, come to find out the class instructor was also the coach for Freshman Football, he begged, and begged me to join the team, but I had no interest, was working for the neighbor farmer making good money. After a couple weeks he quit asking, but also totally ignored me in class, absolutely no help at all, no advise, no teaching for me about architecture. Wound up failing the course, the only course I ever failed. To this day, I despise that bastard, if I ever happen upon his grave, I will pull out my shlong and piss all over it.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

HS Football you would not believe what happens at the bottom of the pile. Talked to guys who made it to college, and a few that made practice squads in the NFL .Gets worse as the climb the ladder. One guy claimed they go to the bathroom in their uniform in the pros . I guess the bottom of the pile gets pretty nasty. Wash off and collect those checks
You only need to know 3 things to be a plumber;Crap rolls down hill,Hot is on the left and Don't bite your fingernails

l met a gentleman that played on the offensive line for the NDSU Bison during their first national championship in 1965. He said the o line averaged 175 pounds “we weren’t very big but we were fast, we called ourselves the whippets”.  Times have changed.
