Can one of you fine folks, answer a question for me. My little baby is a 1961 HD16DC. Serial #5272.

I have changed the following filters.

1. Both fuel filters.
2. Both steering filters located on
     Right front side of engine.
3. Both engine oil filters.
4. Air filter of course.
5. Cleaned and reinstalled fuel return
     Filter/screen.
6. Cleaned both final drives breathers

I am now going to empty and change the transmission system. I am going to remove and clean the sump filter and reinstall. My book does not show any other in line filters or screens.

What am I missin if anything. I read from some of you that there are filters or screens from the back of the tractor to the front someone.

Thank you for any insight.

If not equipped with a rather large external to the frame filter check under the floor pans for a canister affair between the torque and trans. Allis I believe enjoyed burying or hiding them in inconspicuous places.
