   I just cut over 500 corn stocks and shocked for the fall halloween sales, 
Pumpkins are next.

Next is on the list is getting the  corn picker ready to go. I have a order for 100 bus of eared corn to get picked by Sat AM. And The tractor show is this weekend.

	I started my hayrides and pumpkin sales this weekend....gave two families rides, so I guess I was a little early. About half of my pumpkins were ready a month ago, so the weights are way down on them. Another patch I planted late and we need to avoid a frost for another week or two for them to turn. Hopefully things will pick up next weekend...wish I had a binder for my corn stalks.

	David, I will try making your show next year. I sent in the sheets to Powell Gardens so I guess that's where I'll be this weekend. Eldon, I hope that corn stock and pumpkin sales are good this year. I need the money for old tractor buying. LOL

	Don - you are sure more prepared than me. If things work out, I'll be going to get my WD45 next Sunday and take it to the farm. On Monday I'll be getting the new tires for my 180 picked up and mounted then hopefully my farming partner Steve will be available to help me get them on and swap the old ones onto the D17 so I can get it back in commission. Doesn't look like I'm going to get any corn out this year with my EIII and E330 head, probably will have to wait till next years. Mike

	Mike, You're starting to sound a lot like me now! LOL! Hey...when you stop by the house to get the trailer,make sure to get that Nelson muffler and take it with you. If I'm not there,by chance,take either one you want ol' buddy. They're hanging on the wall in the garage that's attached to the house...in case Sherry doesn't know. So that's why you said something about me maybe picking corn with my pull type picker...'cause you're not going to have that EIII ready! LMAO! Hopefully things will come together for you,Mike . 	Rick - my farming partner wants to pick a load of ear corn again this year to feed his "wildlife". He'll bring in one of his friends with a big JD 9xxx STS something to get the corn and early crop beans out. They will leave a few rows of corn for us to pick. We need to adjust the stripper plates this year on your picker first. I also need to slime that tire on it that keeps going down. We might do that corn picking first thing on plow/disc day on November 7th. I thinking more that we'll disc the cornstalks down like last year then plow that hilltop field we did in 2008. We can come back in the spring and plow those corn stalks under for our Spring plow day. I plan to lime my double crop beans bottom too and we might plow that field as well in the spring. Mike

	Rick, I have not put a date on picking more corn, I will shell corn in a week or two, All that is happening in the corn field is the binding of the corn stocks, I will save you some corn to pick if you come over, You will like my New Idea # 10 picker she's in real good shape. I'll let you know a date in a day or two. Mike, I'm be in on the plow/disc day for 11/07/09! I might get a friend to come with his little "G" and plow to show us how to plow! LOL
