A few weeks ago I posted pictures of the F3 that my father just bought this fall. Got some action pictures today and as of this writing the corn is all out of the field. I was asked for some action pics. Will get some video on youtube soon.

Nice! I got one just like it with a chopper this year. I hated to see corn harvest end.

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but being the Gleaner greenhorn that I am, is the back supposed to say Allis Chalmers or Gleaner?

Finally got some video up and running. He could probably go faster, but he's harvested corn with a picker all of his life until this year and not used to traveling much faster! Has never combined corn before. We've had a Gleaner E for small grain and a few soybeans for nearly 40 years though.

I have wondered that myself. It depends on the year. I have noticed on the 1983 L3's it says Gleaner, but the '84 and early '85 models have Allis-Chalmers. Not sure about the other models.
