i got these cultivators last fall and never looked at them till now when I am taking apart.
the Owners manual doesnt show this brace???  there is one on each side in the same position

I'm not near my books but that brace on each side will keep you from breaking the mount if you hit something hard with the feet, very, very desirable part that’s often missing. It provides a lot of support to the lift/plow connection
