Got this new aftermarket trim piece from Stiener. They are putting the swirls on the back side instead of the front so your fuse holder and light switch do not line up and also one of the three holes in the middle is not the correct size now. I think I got one of these a few years back and it fit perfectly. Anybody else have any problems with these? I called them today and never heard back from them yet.

Yes it is me.  I have not made one in several years - I have not needed one and no one has asked for one either, and that is totally acceptable as I have been occupied getting settled in a new career and restoring some tractors.

As I told Matt, I will need to make one for my D15 diesel next year, so when the time comes I could probably do a few more while I am at it.  Just no time for it now unfortunately.

I had a sediment bowl from steiners once that didn't fit. They were very good on the phone and sent me the correct one, no charge.

The Steiner people are friendly, but their products sometimes make you scratch your head (at least their Ford stuff does). They carry a hood that fits a 9N/2N/8N, but it's not correct for any of them. 9N/2N do not have an air cleaner hole or Ford script on the hood. 8Ns have an air cleaner hole and Ford script. The hood they sell has an air cleaner hole, but no script. Hmm.
I also ordered a generator pulley from them once (Said it was for an 8N) When I got it, it fit, but it pushed the belt about an inch further forward than it should be. Turned out to be a pulley for a Jubilee/600/800 tractor. I called them, and the lady I talked to was very nice and said I could return it for a full refund. Then I talked to a guy about ordering the correct pulley. He said "If we don't have it, they don't make it". Phfff!!! I went to YT and ordered it. They still don't carry an 8N pulley, but they did re-label the Jubilee/hundred series one.

Makes me want to go out and paint something! Nice!
Sound like the steiner part is being swirled on the wrong side!
