Most common gauge is a stick about a foot long!!  LOL  Otherwise, I don't think I have ever seen any other type of gauge for the 'B'

Anything is possible if you want to put the effort in, to be honest though I think you're best just carrying a dipstick with you & an extra 1 or 2 gallon can as a "reserve".

Just how much of a road trip are you planning, some kind of slow-paced scenic adventure?  I'd likely only worry about a full on gauge if I were putting some serious miles in.

The hand crank is the perfect fuel gauge. The length from the pulley spuds to the first bend is exactly the depth of the tank. 
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

I don't know anything about it, only remember my grandfather had a gauge that was a gas cap for his WD Allis. It stood 3 or 4 inches above the tank. A person could get 1 of the gauges like they used on snowmobiles, ATVs and lawnmowers. You have to look down on it from above and you would have to make an adapter to go from half turn to spin on.

Who knew! I'll have to check this one out! I carry a cut off yard stick and mark full , half etc. Aldo gave written 1 hr, 2 hr etc to mark my burn down

As Paul B said, the hand crank is the fuel gauge for a B C CA. I don't know for sure in the B C, but the hand crank sits perfectly behind the steering box bracket on the CA. But I can't remember the last time I used it to actually start either of my CA's.

They should run all day on one tank of fuel, anyway my wd will.
Just fill er up every morning and you shouldn’t have to worry.

There was a company that made gauges that you could read from the seat, I have one on a 45 gas…
Doubt they’ll still in Business though..

If you wanted to have an inexpensive "gauge", you could plumb a tee before the sediment bowl with a hose barb and attach a vertical piece of clear tubing to the outside of the tank. The top of the vertical tubing would have to be vented.

Here is a gauge I saw on a CA last year.  However, I can't recall what company made it.  It was similar to an older gas gauge on a snowmobile .  It measures in 1/4 increments I believe.
1951 CA, 1952 CA with cultivator, 20 Series 8' disc harrow, 2 bottom pick-up plow, forage blower, 2-row rear mounted drill corn planter, Allcrop grain drill, No. 80T sickle mower, MN No. 130 barge box
