I am looking for a disc harrow for my 720.
The machine has 12.5 x 15 rear ag tire and rear wheel weights. I could put weigth up front also. I see two "cat 0" disks on the market Howse and Behen. I am not 100% certain they are cat 0 but maybe the pins need to be changed or flipped to face inside. Howse is 60" 505 pounds and 4 gangs of (4) 16 inch notched discs. Behen is 66" 407 pounds and 4 gagngs of (4) 16 inch notched discs. Howse also has a cat 1 48" 423 pound disk. (3) 14 inch disks per gang Can this machine handle these?

Simpletractors.com lists these attachments for the 620 (720 would be the same).
60" Mower 48" Rear Rotary Mower 48" Rotary Tiller 58" Sickle Bar 52" Snow Thrower 60" Snow Plow or Dozer Blade 60" Grader Blade 12" Mold-board Plow Single Row Cultivator Front End Loader No mention of a disk. Based on the options you stated, I would go with the lightest one (but you will need category 0 hookups). Depending how deep you intend to go, you might need to load your tires. The disk might still be hard to handle. Haven't tried that with mine yet. |

Brian - Just a guess, 150-200# without the F&H weight. I think you are right it is a Brinly.

The current version of this is resold by John Deere (LPPDD1000JD), dealer told me it
is 198 pounds. So I don't know if the 720 could handle a 400 pound disk. |

The Brinly looks a little too light. Maybe OK for the JD 318"s and such. Looks sort of
toyish to me, just one bearing per gang. But the 620/720 Powermax is about 400 pounds heavier. There is no narrow (4ft) disc harrow out there that would fit? |
