What are the differences in the 6060 to 6070 to 6080? Seem to be pretty close overall.
What are some issues and setbacks they have?

6060 6070 Had the 433t engine, the 6080 the 433I the 6060 had a 8 speed tranny and most had 28" tires. 6070 replaced the 6060 with the 12 speed tranny to overcome a slooow road speed issue with the 6060 rear end. The 6080 had a 540/1000 pto. Cabs/sheet metal were the same as were most other components.

Which transmission is more reliable? What's the difference between the 433T and 433I?

433T is turbocharged, and the 433I is turbocharged and intercooled.

We have a 6060 since it was new in 1981. It’s been a very good tractor. Fuel pump had to be rebuilt about 6 years ago. Replaced both clutches this spring. 433t has good power. No transmission issues. Only issue is it is cold natured. Plug in the heater for 30 minutes or hit the ether button below 45 degrees. We try not to use the ether unless we have unplanned need for the tractor. A lot of 6060,6070,6080 tractors in our area. Local dealer is 7 miles away. Highly recommend having one. Also, ours does not have the crankshaft bearing support which was suppose to be installed by the dealer under warranty after issues arose on early 6060’s. Dad was never notified and until a few years ago we were unaware of the issue. We have not had the issue and I believe it’s because we use the pto lever properly. Great tractor for its size.

have 6060 and 6080 . both are good tractors.6080 12 speed so few more choices on working speed.

10,000 hrs I have seen three times on 6080's before it was engine overhaul time.

we traded a 6080 in at 9800 hrs that the engine had never been touched.

My 6080 has 7400 hours. I believe it’s all original. We’ve had it 12 years or so. Had to put a clutch in it. Other than that it’s had no issues and runs strong

Dr allis I need help I just got a 6060 and the pto won’t shut off they’ve been cranking it in gear to use it you pull back the stage coach handle and it won’t stop I’m thinking stuck clutch but don’t know linkage is moving I need somebody to move the handle while I look to be sure any sugesstions ???
