I have some Detroit injectors #'s S80, 69381, and 70847. I bought them because I thought they could be used on my Detroit 2-71. These injectors will fit the 2-71 but they are for delivering much more fuel than the HV6's on my motor. The fuel lines are at an angle to the crankshaft rather than parallel to the crankshaft like the HV6's. Please tell me what Detroit motor these injectors are for. They look as if they are newly rebuilt.

I took one of the 70487's apart and found that the rack can be assembled out of position. Can someone tell me how to time the rack in the injector?
Thanks

My 2-71 uses HV7 injectors - the 3-71 I had in 4WD loader had injectors that were rebuilt out of 8V71 engine by back room diesel mechanic - he set them up to run in the 3-71
