Darin- These Guys Can't Log In

HI, I wonder how many other people are having trouble?!?!

I talked to Jerry JC(WI) last night and he can't sign in.  He switched to Firefox (which I am currently using) from Chrome and can't sign in.  He tried on his cell phone also and can't sing in.  He could before these changes you made.

Lon Lon(MN) just emailed me and he also cannot log in.  Something you did won't allow them to get on.

How can you fix this?

I'm in, I'M IN!!! 

Don't know what was the magic but I AM IN !!! 

No doubt it was 99.99998% chance that it was Darin that fixed it so I can log in again.

I did not have a different email to try so i had to setup an account on gmail... I then regiested NEW with a NEW name, NEW password and NEW e-mail.... My ORIGINAL Name and Email account do not match in the main frame.. No new password will help.

So i am back on now with a new name ( il) instead of (ill)  ..... will need to FIX old or get access to Political section if old cannot be fixed...... I would assume there are OTHERS in this situation also... and NO WAY to contact you if your Locked Out.

It was probably a algorithm that Darren installed to stop the secret “club” collusion.

Steve, I don't know how you got to keep the () around the IL part .  That was severely screwing me up with my old name, besides the clicking on the forgot your password and it would say, new password sent to email... and it never showed up in email, not even trash or scam, unless Darin sent it himself... and the last email had my new name and new password and it did not work at around 6 pm... nor at around 7pm... then late in the night after midnite, I tried fooling around with it and hand entered it one more time and ...blink,blink , IT WORKED!   Don't know what changed but it did work. 

 What is funnier yet is the fact is, the email account is from the telephone company with my name n it, but the email itself was set up for Cheryl with her name on it... which would not match if the system looks at ownership of it. But I had used the email to establish the the notifications from Unofficial Allis website.   and never changed it to my own email I had created in the telephone office some many years ago now.  So maybe that was screwing things up I don't know.

 Then I thought I had my g-mail account initiated onto my 'new' "smart" phone (so I could get my minutes to show for some dum reason) and it ties both g-mail, google and my phone (tracfone) together under one password... which somehow screwed up Cheryl's google and g-mail account... again, .  Found out yesterday that I could send out on g-mail, but I discovered I can't receive messages to it.  ... soooo, I couldn't change to that email if I had to make a new account. SHEESH!!! World is getting nuttier all the time with it's electron tech crap... tho it is nice when it works right.But gets infuriating when it doesn't and costs more buck$ to get the crap straightened out or fixed...or replaced.

   Maybe Darin might see you are in need of help and help you out as he had so generously had helped me.

Steve, your other account is still active, at least still all the posts are there, wonder if that was the problem with the (ill), now your completely different account?  

From what I can see JC has changed his account name but account is still the same?  At least it appears his older posts have his new name attached.

So i went BACK to GMAIL and made a SECOND ACCOUNT , then came back here and made a NEW REGISTER with OUT the ( )........... and im BACK IN AGAIN !!

I went back and looked and anyone with the ( ) ... does not seem to be posting... so that may be it!!
