Good/Year 13.oo X 24-TG , "10 PLY RATING GRADER" is on the tire .

Yes, there were about 900 styled WC's in 1938 so some of the 1938 Maintainers could have been styled but most were probably unstyled.

The Maintainer still had stardard WC rear gears.The W-Patrol had the real low gears that where even lower then the RC.My W-patrol in 2nd gear is same as Maintainer in 1st as you said.The maintainer also had the pressed steel rear wheels .When they changed to Patrol they done the heavy cast center with clamp rim's and lower gears .I have alot of Lit. on both unit's.

The Mainter has a tag with Maintainer on it up on left front frame for the mainter ,but still has the serial # stamped on raer center housing for the year .

Maybe the maintainer he parted was a late one at the end of production ,W Patrol did start in 1940 !

Found a picture of my '38 Speed Maintainer 1C115. Armand built a model of this one.

I only know of 2 others like it.
