I'm guessing from the pictures with 4 D21's on a trailer that they weigh less then 12,500 a piece. It would be neat to see a tractor pull with a dozen good running D21's in a class.

I just left the Rantoul show grounds an hour or so ago.  There are at least 15-20 D-21's there so far.  A friend sent me a picture of 3 semi's with 9 more D-21's on board that are just arriving.  FYI.

I'm sure someone will have a "drone" to get some good D-21 pics before the show is over.

Lots of D21's in orange, yellow and one in Black. My rough count this evening was around 160 including a few lined up for the tractor drive in the morning. Quite a site!

Absolutely incredible. And I thought the 100+ that was at Pontiac, IL a few years ago was never going to be beat.

I can only assume you are used to modern factory cabs with air conditioning and a radio.  AC never made a cab for the D21 which meant you had to settle for an aftermarket cab.  They are very primitive compared to factory cabs.  Not very good visibility, poor ventilation and even worse noise insulation, and after 50+ years the squeaks and rattles could drive you crazy pretty quick!
My D21 came with an Egging cab.  After driving it off the truck, down the laneway and into the barn, I grabbed the sawzall and started cutting it off.  That short time in that cab was enough for me!  Open station solves those problems and the tractor looks a whole lot better.

Before:

After - a no brainer in my opinion:

I probably screwed up by not going this year.  That would be worth seeing all of those D21s.

What is the story of the white one? Is there some significance to the white paint, or just personal choice?
