Is there a difference in ratios between the D21 and 210?

yes, the 210/220 is 3.70, D21 is 4.11 I think.

210-220 pinion gear has one more tooth for strength/durability and then they slowed down the larger final drives to essentially come up with the same axle speeds as a D-21.

Thanks for the information. Got both the D21 pulling tractor and the 210 donor apart to swap differentials and they both had the same ring and pinion.  Just wanted to make sure.
