One more question what would be the best loader to use on the D19 I have one off an old D17 but it doesn't look like it will mount up on the D19

Thanks Bill

In my feeble little opinion, no loader on a D 19 is best. But I guess if you must put one on, I'd say probably a Du-al 340 may mount up the best. The problem you'll encounter, though, is that the tractor hydraulics are'nt live and aren't enough gpm to run a loader any how, and if you put on a pto pump, you still don't have live hydraulics unless you are very handy with the power director hand clutch. There is ways of mounting a pump up front off the crankshaft which would be the best, but would require a little ingenuity. My 1st AC tractor was a D 19, and it came with a farmhand F 11 loader on it, and I was never happy with the tractor until the loader came off permanently. I hope I never have to put another loader on it, but if I do, it'll be a Du-al 340 with an up front pump.  Darrel

I have a D19 with a 2250 CaseIH loader on it and I agree with everything darrel says. Although the lack of independent hydraulics doesn't bother me so much. It's a power house of a tractor but the hydraulic gpm are lacking. Also I'd prefer hydrostatic power steering when you get to larger tractors with loaders. Going to move the loader over to my 190 as soon as I get time. That all said, we got by for a long time with a Vaughn trip bucket loader on the 19 alright.

Put a 419 or 519 Allis loader on it, and you will love it.  I have a 445 loader on a WD45 and really like it.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

Ted, what do you use for hydraulics to run your 445 on your wd45? Is it designed for the high pressure/low volume tractor hydraulics? And like wise, are the 419/519's designed for tractor hydraulics?  Thanks
