My D-19 gas i just bought is not charging, and i have grounded the field terminal on the generater and the amp gauge didn't move so i believe that the generator is the problem, i looked in the end of the generater and the brushes look good, what could the problem be?
Thanks in advance,
Andy

Take the belts off the generator and then jump across the battery and arm terminals on the regulator. The generator should spin like a motor. While the generator is motoring, ground the F terminal. The generator should slow down, but continue to spin. If the generator reacts as stated, you have a regulator problem.
