Hi y'all We recently acquired my great grandpa's D-19 through an auction and are planning on using it for moving round bales, blading the drive, and moving snow. It runs great but the hydraulics won't hold pressure so they go down with my weight, about 150lbs. I replaced the copper o ring and other o rings in the check valve under the controls it worked great and lifted our bale stabber. It held till I put it in reverse to back up to a bale then down it went. The original o rings didn't have any major damage to them so wondering if we have a bigger issue. We have an AGCO dealer and a tractor junkyard not far from us where I can get parts if needed. I'm not familiar with hydraulics so any help is appreciated. Thanks Braxlee

I'm no fan of D-19 hydraulic systems, but the problem is in that valve stack. Anything related to the porting and spool to the lift arms is suspect. If it's any consolation, D-19's are some what known for the lift arms settling with a load on them.
