I recently bought a 1964 series 3 D17. It is a narrow front with power steering. I would like to convert it to a wide front end. My questions are:
-Which WF models will work on a series 3? I've noticed series 1 wide fronts have a different looking peice underneath..the bracket between the frame and cross piece -does the parts tractor have to have power steering? I've found a few cheap or parts tractors around, but don't want to buy an incompatible one. Most of them are old series 1 tractors. Anybody have the parts they would like to sell? |
