My neighbour is looking for a steering shaft (part number 70250050) for a series IV. The splines on his are all chewed up, creating very loose steering. If someone has one with good splines, please let me know.
Thanks.

Wrong one Ray. I am referring to the one the comes out of the bottom of the front casting and connects to the tie rods by a plate that is splined to fit tightly on the shaft. It is much shorter than 29 1/2".

Is it same as D-15? If so, I may have one.

D15 has a different part number. D17s and D19s appear to be the same. |
