When I removed the ft pedestal (narrow front) to pull my engine I noticed there is some play in the front axle in the tube. The I&T manual is not very good at describing how it's put together in there. If I remove the lower part of the housing for the narrow ft wheels, am I going to need to align the rack for the power steering cylinder? Are there bearings that maybe need a shim removed to take up the play, or a worn bushing?
