    Posted: 28 Feb 2012 at 10:17pm
Hey guys im trying to pull the axles on my D17 and i cant seem to get the snap ring off that holds the bull gear on the axle off any good ideas or tricks on how to do this, it will move and turn i just cant get it out of the groove. Also i have been told that putting new seal on an old axle isnt worth it because the seal wears a groove in the axle and wont seal is this true? As for the injector lines i have the head off an have new sleaves to put on the lines where they attach to the injector, whats the best way to get the old ones off or should i just leave the old ones on?
Thanks in advance for any help
Dennis

leave the old ones on,  they are pinched onto the line when you tighten the line nuts, hard to get off, then the line may be pinched too and a new one wont seal in the same spot.
