Hello , i am tryin to figure out what AC mower my Dad had years ago .. before he bought our first 461 NH Haybine .. I WAS way young and cant remember the model #, but we pulled a conditioner behind our D15 Series 2 at the same time we were mowing .. Any ideas on what i am looking for .. If it was "Twin Wheel" drive (belt drive and no wooden pitman arm)
If Snap Coupler hitch, it would be a No. 7
If bracket hitch in place of Drawbar, would be an 80R
If 3 point hitch, would be an 80R3
Or if Side Mounted, would be an 80S

Yes 80S mounted on R/H side of tractor beween front and rear tires.
Fred according to my Allis Manual No. 7 was also a trail behind type with 2 tires. I thought it was called an 80T.

If you can find an 82S, you will find the mounting and the lifting systems are much less complicated and there are a few improvements over the 80S; like a heavier (thicker) cut bar and ball bearings at the lifting pivot points.
I'm not saying the 80S is not a good mower, just that the 82S is a bit better.
