My old d15 with a shuttle clutch started slipping pretty bad in forward. Does anyone know the cut off for moving shims to the center before rebuilding? I need to drop the shims on the forward clutch from .085" to .045", and the reverse clutch from .085" to .060".... this will leave the center shims at .100"... If this will be in spec I'm looking for 9 .015" long shims.
Thanks Andrew |

Ended up making some .050" long shims. The old girl snaps in better than she has in the last 14yrs that I've had it.
