Something in my d15 let go in the hydraulic system. When you start the tractor the 3 pt. wll raise even if the control lever is in the down position. it is not the traction booster as all is free with the linkage as it is missing! The 3 pt lever acts much different than before and the 3 pt will not lower whether the tractor is running or not Also when trying to move the tractor in any gear the motor strains and almost stalls until something lets loose. It seems to me that the up side lift control will not release. Anybody got any ideas and how to fix it??? Kurt

Adjust the feed back rod under the tractor that goes from the torsion bar of 3-point to the pump, you will need to adjust it so the lever on the bottom of the pump is pushed forward further, Adjust it till your lift lower lever feels right, spring pressure should be felt about halfway up. Also make sure your 4 bolts holding the drawbar support and torsion bar assembly are tight, also i am assuming this is a factory 3 point setup? Hope this helps. |
