My mechanic finally finished rebuilding the transmission in my 1959 D14 - it was only in his shop for 6 years!  Now that it is as good as new, the hand clutch needs rebuilding too.

The rear hub clutch (part #70228071) is what I am looking for.  My AGCO dealer says they are no longer available.  You can see mine has chunks missing out of the teeth.  Looking for one in excellent condition or NOS.

I have also heard the clutch plate assembly (Part #70232080) is available aftermarket.  Does anyone have a price for these?

Many thanks!

All of the friction and steel separator plates are available both from Agco and aftermarket. I went through my clutch on my D17 and if I remember correctly there are 7 of each plate and the steels were about $40 each and the friction about $60 each. Then there's the roller lock plates and a center plate. To fix the clutch correctly so it stays fixed is not an inexpensive endeavor.
Off the top of my head you will also want the 6 rollers, new pin lock rings, 6 separator springs, new O rings for the power director shaft and PTO lever shaft, new transmission input shaft seal, new PTO shaft seal on the transmission side.
I might be leaving something out, but this is a very good start to do a first class repair.

I have most of the parts I need, except for the rear hub clutch (part #70228071) - pictured above.  I posted an ad in the classifieds.

Please send me a PM if you have a good one.

Thanks very much!

If you were not North of the boarder, I have a complete D15 power director I'd sell you. Unfortunately I've had nothing but problems with dealing into Canada.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
