What engine oil should i use for it? Its a 1957. All of our tractors are diesles and we use 15w-40. would this work or not?

I am questioning some fliuds also. My book is saying 20 wt several places but not saying motor oil or hydraulic oil
 
engine ?
power steering ?
power director ?
shuttle ?
rear diff ?
 
Is P.D., shuttle and trans and belt pulley all the same resevoir ?

  engine 15-40 is satisfactorY  I PREFER SAE 30
    rear diff 80-90
    balance hyd fluid  we use AMMACO 1000
