D-14 leak - pto engage lever?

I have been leaking some fluid under the left side of the D-14, under the foot rest.  It appears to be coming from the foot clutch area, but I assume that would not cause the leak, but probably the pto engage lever immediately above it. 
How difficult a fix is this?  I assume some type of seal, hopefully coming in from above?
 
Also I have play in the foot clutch pedal.  Is this a matter of replacing a shim, or do I need to drill larger and insert a shim?  I have the same problem on my WD, so same question.

There is an oring on the PTO lever shaft where is goes thru the torque tube.  Youll have to split the tractor at the torque tube for access to the inside lever, its a little tricky as there is a sping loaded detent.   Then remove the linkage and lever, replace the oring and put it back together.  Might as well put new orings on the power director cross shaft too cause youll have it out too.  It is possible to take the lever out without splitting the tractor, but you need to know what your doing.  Dr Allis has a good procedure to do that.  Good luck

On the foot clutch, the D-series tractors do have replaceable bushings on the foot clutch (and brake pedals too).  Takes 2, one on each side.  Will make a big improvement IF the shaft is not worn.  If the shaft is worn bad that's also a tractor split item normally to remove it like Skip mentions above for your PTO o-ring.   I bought bushings for my D17 in 2006 from AGCO and they were not too bad in price - back then...  Not sure what shaft size it takes but if you measure you can get them from McMaster-Carr too I'm sure. 

On the WD/WD45 the foot clutch and brake pedals do NOT have bushings.  They have 1 inch shafts so you will have to drill out the pedals to 1 1/8 and bush them yourself.  I ordered bushings from McMaster-Carr to do mine.  The hand clutch on a WD/WD45 DOES have bushings...I think the shaft diameter there is 7/8 and the OD is 1 inch for the bushings.  When I checked this year AGCO wanted $33 EACH for the bushings, takes 2.  I also got those from McMaster-Carr for like $2.48 each or something like that...might have only been 1 bushing too that you cut in half for the hand clutch lever.  I have the details at home.  Send me a Private Message and I'll forward you the McMaster-Carr part number details.  Mike

My employer gets parts from McMaster, so if I plead with the maitenance dept, I can probably add my list of parts to a future order.
 
I'll add these 2 projects to my to do list, but first it's replacing the clutch / pressure plate in my C, as soon as planting is done.  The WD foot clutch fix sounds like the easiest of the 3 to do.
