Hello I may have asked this a long time ago.....but here I go again.
I have a d14 with a loader and it uses a log splitter pump. The pump is now being driven by the flywheel/ accessory pully on the side. My problem is no hyd power when I push the clutch in...that slows the whole day down. The alternator has a spare pully but I have a hard time believing that would drive the pump under load. How are other people driving a pump and is a logsplitter pump a good option? I did see a kit that goes out the front but my tractor doesn't have an access hole. Any input would be great...thanks Edited by ZR9B - 19 Feb 2024 at 9:04pm |

There should be 3 holes, big with a bar and circle shape in the middle, and 2 smaller holes, one on each side of the big one. They may not be punched out of the sheet metal, but they will be cut out of the casting, underneath. IIRR...

That would be in the front directly inline with the crank? I will look the next time I go north..the tractor is 250 miles north.
Does anyone have a picture? It will likely be 3 weeks before I get back up. Thanks Diy.... |

YUP. You'll need a pump to complete the package.
