Hi all!
Me and my boys were just given a 66 D12 from a great Uncle! Have been restoring cars for years but this is my first tractor. It had been sitting for a long time outside but is solid and all there. We got it running great but it needs wheels and tires and a cosmetic restoration.
QUESTION.. I had one back rim repaired and can restore the backs ok but the fronts are pretty rough. According to my research and measurements, they are 5x15 but I can't find replacements in that size. Any suggestions? I plan to use it for show and light food plot work.

I have looked at quite a few vendors and online sites. I am also wondering if I am correct in looking for 5x15. Any specific sites where I will definitely find a 5x15? THANKS FOR THE HELP!

By my manual 5 x 15 is the correct size rim for your tractor. Try Miller tire at www.millertire.com

rim is 3"x15"
tire is 5"x15"

5 bolt pattern

The Series III rims will probably be hard to find as they look like car rims,I never liked the looks of them but if you want it original then you should try to fix what you have.If you don't care then the earlier style rims will work.

Here is a pic of one of the rims. They are definitely 5 inches (not 3) bead to bead.

Welcome to the forum!!    I see Steiner tractor parts has the 3x15 but not the 5x15. The wider ones were only used for a short time but there will be some out there I'm sure.

That rim is fixable someone thats good with a wire feed can fix the hole then drill the
valve stem hole at another location.Then straighten the edges up with the Vice Grips,knock the rust off with a wire brush and give it a coating of POR 15 and you'll be ready to paint it.

I agree.  That rim can be saved.  If you a not confident in making these repairs yourself, a good welding and fabrication shop can fix it up for you.  My local shop gets lots of business from me, probably because everything comes back as good as new.

Welcome to the forum.  You have a very great "family Tractor",  You will find it to be one neat unit.  Fun to work with and if you have rebuilt care much easier to work on. 
Unfortunately, I cannot help you with the rim but from what I see you will solve this problem.  Let us know how it goes.
