It was asked not to long ago what differences there are between the D10 and D12. It was stated that they are the same except the D10 has a narrower rear end and wheel track.

So what are the differences in the D14 and D15? I am assuming that the D14 was not powered with a diesel.

Correct, D14's never came with a diesel.
D15's were persian orange 2 with cream accents, had the guard around the button on the hand clutch, had a transmission heat shield. the frame is wider, has larger headlights, has optional 3 point hitch.
I don't have my book with me, but I think the speed on the 149 engine was bumped up to 2000 RPM from 1650 on the D14.  Grille mesh on the D14 was diamond shaped whereas D15s had rectangular slots.
Not too many mechanical differences really.

D-14 approx. 34 HP...….D-15 approx. 40 HP...…..D-15 S2 approx. 46 HP.   When they came out with the "D" series, the D-14 was supposedly a 3-plow tractor and the D-17 was 4 or 5 bottoms.  If you had a WD45, you went up to the D-17, a pretty logical choice. But, the D-14 hardly replaced the WD, which hadn't been built since 1953, and surely didn't come close to replacing the WD45. So, in 1960, they tried the new D-15 with more power. It probably would do the work of a WD, but again not a WD45. So, in 1963 we got the D-15 series 2, and while the HP rating was a little higher than a WD45, it was closer to a true WD45/3-plow replacement with 8-speeds, power steering and forward mounted seat.  D-15's were wider side frames to match the D-17 and would use a 4-row cultivator from the D-17, where the D-14 was 2-rows. D-14 hood sheet metal and gas tank are shorter and narrower than a D-15.

The D-14/15 is not like the D-10/12 situation. The D-10 and D-12 were produced simultaneously. The D-14 was discontinued and replaced by the D-15.
