The D 10 S I & II have a rectangle piece that has the gear shift pattern stamped in it and fits under the dash and bolts to the torque tube. Am I right that the S III does not have that part ?? The S III dash is more rounded on the bottom and fits to the torque tube, Did they have a decal with the shift pattern ? Reason I ask is I am putting a S III back together after 2 years and I can't find the shift pattern part. Did I misplace it or did they change it while I wasn't looking ? Thanks, Larry Miller

My D-10 series III has a decal shift pattern that's no longer legible. For now I have a piece of duct tape stuck to the transmission with the shift pattern. A little crude but id works.

Dusty, where is the decal for the gear patern located?  On the gas tank?  Or is it on the transmission housing?

My D-10 is home in Michigan and I'm in Florida yet so it's a little hard to go out and check, but if I remember right the decal is on the gas tank.

Also there are two different decals. One for the D-10 with the 2 speed gear box in front of the transmission. And one for the standard D-10.

Shift pattern is a decal located on the gas tank just above the fuel gauge. There are 2 different ones, standard trans or one with range trans. I have the decals for the range trans. Let me know what you have.
