I think I remember talk about those 17 hp engines back then not being worth a crap. 
 
If the corn planter is all loose and the fertilizer boxes ain't too bad, it could be 2worth 300.00

If it has the series 1 Kohler twin, John's right. They splash lubed the rods on the series 1. The series 2 went to full pressure lube with a filter. Then they were a decent engine. The Onan engines were the best in their day.
