Hello, I'm new to forum -- I'm in the middle of the process of restoring a 2 row 3pt hitch corn planter very similar to the one pictured below (I copied the pic off another post from this forum).  Is there any way to tell the production date from any of the numbers on it? If not, what years were these produced?  Finally, does anyone know where I can find the same decals as the ones on the fertilizer boxes in the picture?

from the manuals i have. the earliest date is prior too nov 1958 . after that there were some slight changes. the one picture looks too be a gear type, they also made a gate type of fertilizer hopper and a cole type hopper. as far as decals go, the yt site has the ones you want. this site my also have them. i'm sure some of the sponsor on here also have them. whoever restored this unit did a A+ job. i brought one of these 2 months ago and havn't started my restore yet. however did plant some soybeans and it worked pretty good w/ the corn plates that came with this unit. i've only had the manuals for a few days and have only browsed thur them. if you need any info from the manuals, feel free too pm me, terry
