Well I got the head home, needs some tlc but at least I found one. It came with a conversion to fit a K model. I started soaking chains and straightening tin work, took the conversion kit off. Grease fittings all seem to take grease, so hopefully we will have it mounted on Berta by the weekend.

I have a 185 Allis, 6060 Allis, Model K gleaner, SMTA ferg 35, ferg 20 (paps first tractor, Allis B (wife's)John Deere 240 skid loader and a bunch of the usual farm stuff.

Would you please post a picture or two of the combine? I really enjoy seeing all harvesting equipment, both new and old.

Thanks Don, I hope to take the grain head off tonight weather permitting. I will take a closer pic of the cab, I think it is a comfort brand cab? It still has the decal on it.  Jeff

Well no head removal today been raining to much. As far as the roof goes, I never tryed opening it up. There is a small fan hanging in there that my kids refer to as my
air conditioning. I am hoping over the weekend to get the head off and the corn head on. I will take pictures on the progress.
