i was looking at the one on the djs parts but i will at least get all new parts for the one that came on my series 4 parts tractor with the low back in black and white

I'm still young enogh to be ok with the original seat. I think that delux seat would look odd on a D17
|

It may be a "classic", but it never came on an Allis-Chalmers.

HudCo, How about one of these from K&M seats? Believe they’re more economical arm rest type? Would think the slide rails could be removed? So when you get your D17’s new replacement seat completed, then you can share a photo of it?? Anyway, I got two weblinks to share for you 2nd is a a Craigslist D17 with high back seat. 1st is a good video. I know it’s a 190, but think it’s 2 stage hinged seat base is same as D17s? ac7060 the one i the 190 is right at home its kind of hard to tell with those 100 series fenders on the d17

Doc, feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the super deluxe seat on the Series 4 ?
I know Dad's (early) 180 came with the white super deluxe seat (as an option) and I thought I remember a D-17 with the same seat.

To my knowledge, the OPTIONAL white super deluxe seat was only on 180-190-190XT D-21-210-220. Never on any D-17's, D-19's, 170-175-185's. Over my years, I have seen ONE series 4 D-17 tractor that had one, but it had been added on by the owner.
