Hello folks, I need a combine (off color) hauled from Findlay Ohio area to Lexington Ky area. About 260 miles. It’s a JD6620. Can anyone recommend someone. Thanks so much.

I needed a non running R5 moved about 60 miles and hard to get someone. Hourly rates were $140 per hour. Ended up paying $10 per mile....We loaded and unloaded it...Dale

Every time I’ve had something big shipped, I’ve listed it on Fr8star and let the companies bid. The neighbors had them haul a combine, but I don’t know what they paid. The biggest things I’ve had hauled were tractors so my rates were probably a good bit less

I did test out Uship and the hightest was over $4000 and the cheapest $1400....So it was back to testing the theory of doing it ourselves but I just did not have it in me....

For those that would go with the lowest bidder... watch "shipping wars" sometime. I would not want Jarred hauling anything for me. If there ever was someone that could screwup just about anything he'd be the one. It takes experience to move most things. Why anyone would go with the lowest bidder for something that they would consider valuable is beyond me.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I have combine home as of yesterday. Local booking agent got it hauled for 1600. 400 of that for Ohio oversized permit. Thanks all who commented.
