I got a call from my neighbor this morning and he has a 1965 CII combine with 4 row 40 inch cornhead he has decided to sell.    He combined 32 acres last fall with it. He said the D19 engine in it is very good and very good rubber as well and combine is in good shape .He has owned it since 1978. I just don't need it so I told him I would put it here and maybe we could save it from going to scrap. If it doesn't sell he will drive it 14 miles to scrap dealer. He will sell it for iron price. I hope someone is interested. Thanks It is located in NW Iowa and his phone number is 712 552 2985.

I saved 2 CII 's from the scrapers two years ago. They were stored inside and were in good condition but hadn't run in a few years. Got  2 grain heads (one with a pickup), a 430 corn head, two skids of extra screens, cylinders, spike cylinder, new bearings, roller chains, and new belts. I think he would have gave them to me because he couldn't bring himself to scrap them but I offered $500 and he was very happy. After some work they are both running. The one has a spike cylinder and was only used for navy beans for it's last 15 years. He had bought the second one for parts but never took a part from it. It shows very little wear and the first owner had bought a bigger combine and simply left it in the shed. I think the C II in great combine partly because when the D-21 was the big dog, the C II was the biggest combine. Somebody needs to save this one!!!

Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed
