I was there for that one back in January 1967 when it snowed 23 inches in 35 hours. A snowdrift formed covering our patio door for several days.  I could not believe the drift at the school across the street from our house. Kids could walk up it to the roof of the Gym.
     All the expressways out from downtown to the burbs were one big parking lot . You could get on but couldn't get off. All the exits were drifted in and packed with stuck cars some of which  you couldn't see. Buried in snow
     Needless to say I don't miss the cold or the snow since moving to Texas in 68.  We have some upper 70s forecast for the weekend.
     As bad as it ever gits around here once in a great while

I think you've posted that pic before Ken, and I still like it!  We've got a LOT more than that though.  I'd miss winter if I didn't live up here.  It'd be one less thing to complain about......

I like it here in Ohio, always said I can put more clothes on to keep warm, the heat knocks me down and takes the energy out of me, but this winter and this COPD is rough in this cold weather like we just had have to wear a mask outside to be able to breath when it's below zero. But I will live through it
