Had the Zenith dual fuel carburetor rebuilt on my 1937 WC tractor still will not start with the rebuilt Zenith, put a good M S TSX on from my WD and tractor starts rite up. What could the problem be with the Zenith model 7078?

Have you verified that fuel reaches proper float level?

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

Does it flood after turning the crank several times? I had problems with mine when I first got it until I learned the combination of - full choke, crank - no choke, crank - and then it will fire if it is timed right.

AC,
My suggestion would be to go back through the Z carb again. I had a WD carb I kept opening and switching parts and checking things till I got the right combo. Good luck, and good that you found that it was the carb. FYI I like the Marvel carbs for some reason. I have not rebuilt a Zenith carb, but the D17 has one. Nice work. Regards, Chris
