So having bought my fourth CA I was thinking how many are still out there. I have seen several in salvage yards over the years but there always seems to be one that runs for sale on regular basis. Just wondering how many left out of the 39,499 originally made.

I had 4, sold one. With yours that's 5 out of 39,499. On fb marketplace there are 2 in AR, 3 in MO, and 1 in OK. Also know of 2 in KS and 2 more in MO.

i would guess 10 - 20% of them are still around.... That would be 4 - 8,000 tractors.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Truly an impossible question to answer.  I personally looked at 3 and bought one in the past year.  Have seen several at many tractor shows.  As with any other tractor, it's impossible to know how many are left.  There are lots of undiscovered hiding places on this earth.

Like DSeries4 says, almost impossible to answer that question. Would be the same for any model. I've got 2 runners and a parts machine here in Ia. Have a cousin with a runner and a couple of parts machines. I don't recall any in the local yard right now. Curious how many Lon has up in Mn?

I've got 2 here one with belly mower for the yard and one with pull type Woods brushhog for maintaining the farm. They still earn their keep. I did scrap one CA years ago that had been in a barn fire.

I've got 3 that aren't on the list and one parts machine.
I couldn't find one for the longest time and then all of a sudden....but they do earn their keep.

I've got 2 that aren't on the register. Know of 2 more in the area. 1 I restored for a guy, the other in a barn in good shape. A bunch in page county-charlie175 has 1 That I know of, could name 4 or 5 others there if I had to. Gary B probably has a few in greene co. CA is a powerful tractor that is easily transported if need be. I use mine to plow, disc, cultivate, and hopefully plant with someday the garden. Have dragged pastures with a 12' drag, run 8-51 westfield auger.

I have two real nice ones with Artsway mowers on each. I had a third one for sale ten years ago for $2000. No interest so I parted it out. It was strange to drive a nice tractor in the shop and take it apart. The rear wheels sold first for $800. I had a list of folks looking for parts. Not much left to put on the shelf. One fellow asked what I wanted for the dust on the hood. A CA is good property.
