5/18 I was planting soybeans with my fathers 8070 FWA. Late in the day with 3 fields yet to plant, the front end started leaking oil out the left axle shaft and the axle also had up and down play. The other 8070 was on a rented roller and the 8050 didn't have dauls on it. The 7080 has long axles with spin out dauls. Nun of the choices seemed to be good. It is hard to get planter cables out of 8000's and switching dauls takes time.

So with a patch plate over the hole in her block, no fuel guage, no ac, and the burning of some mid night oil, BV's old 7080 was hitched to 23 rows of Kinze blue. At fthe end of a long day on 5/19, the 7080 put 140 acers behind her.

The old 7080 has a few things that need to be worked on, but she has GRIT! And sometimes grit is enough.
