This is just a broken zerk, right? Not some kind of special driveline type zerk. It almost looks like the needle valve on my greasegun would fit in there, and it's snapped off pretty clean, but I'm thinking it's just a ex-zerk? |

I can't see it all that good but I kinda think that's just a zerk that the grease fitting comes out at an angle to make it easier to get the grease gun on.

Yeah, I should have cut that picture down a bit. This is the part in question, it does look like there should be a head here to put a grease gun on?

Looks like your typical 90 deg. Zerk fitting with a 1/8" pipe thread with the Zerk end broken off.

Agreed, an angled Zerk. However, looking at the complete first picture, I think a see a big crack in the yoke.

I'd think it might be a 45 degree zerk, not 90 degree one.
I agree with BrianC, it sure looks like a crack in the yoke, from the angle, however it is likely the end of machining line where they flattened the ears for internal snap ring locks on the bearing caps. |

Yup, regular old angel zerk, most farm & feed store have them but get the old one out and take it with you there's about 100 different size threads, course, fine, metric,my second trip back to buchheit I took the old one with me.make sure you get the angle one though, you'll never get a grease gun on a straight one inside that u-joint yoke.

Now that its busted off, it makes it all the easier, to get a 1/4 drive socket on, for removal...
