I have a BRIGGS 422707-1243-01  18 HP horizontally opposed, cast iron sleeve, twin motor. Motor was recently rebuilt and had one small spring from the governor laying in the bottom of the box when done. Have looked at exploded views online and don't see where it connects.
The tractor seems to run great about 2800- 3000 RPM... Really don't idle and does not go to 3600 RPM.  Governor does see to work at the 3000 RPM spot.
Before I just get " a service manual", I would like to know if there is a specific manual or paper that shows the governor parts assembled, spring locations, how to adjust the governor and the carburetor.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
