Was helping a guy with a 653 the other day and noticed rollers from an HD 5 on the bottom of the machine, what surprised me is that they actually worked. Flange lip had more material than the rollers from the H-4 or 653.
Now to my question does anyone know if the S, M, K and L crawler bottom rollers interchange. Reason I ask is that I have come across a good M crawler engine and drivetrain, but bottom rollers are worn pretty well. I also came across an old S with a perfect undercarriage, excellent track and rolls but someone left the cap off the intake and the tranny both full of water, balance of machine is good for parts. So was thinking on buying the S to part and put the rolls on the M.
Thoughts/Advice very much appreciated! Orangeman

There is a place here in NY called S&S tractor that I beleave could build up your rollers for you. I know they do it on the front ideler wheels at a fraction of the cost of new.

Hello Todd: Thanks for the post, they are good people at S@S. Was really trying to find out about interchange for the old Allis letter crawlers because the cross shafts are worn on the old M, and if I could figure out if the rolls interchange, I would go ahead and buy the S. Thanks again for the info...Orangeman!

No S K & L rollers are totally different from a M K,s have mixed single and double flange rollers and are larger than M rollers witch are all single flange, S rollers i believe are the same as H D 10 & 14 but i could be wrong on this, L,s could be the same as H D 10 & 14 but again not 100% on this but 1 thing is certain K S & L rollers will not fit an M.
